Feburary Book Club Meeting

Executive Meeting and Book Club!
Sunday, February 24 at 2 p.m. , Dr. Jerry Glidewell Biology Building, Ranger College.

We are having an executive meeting at 1 on Sunday, prior to the Book Club Meeting. Please feel free to attend, if you are interested in getting involved in one of our committees.

Afterward, at 2, we are having the book club meeting.

This month we are reading Celeste Headlee's book, We need to Talk: How to have Conversations that Matter. The book is a good read for a range of reasons, including offering advice on how we can talk with potential voters.

We have three copies of the book available for reading. If you want a copy, just email or phone me. You can also find the book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/We-Need-Talk-Conversat…/…/ref=sr_1_1…

It is also an audiobook.

And even if you can't read the book, it's not a problem. Join us at the meeting. We will summarize and discuss the book and how we can use the information to better our county.

Examples will be provided for both actions.

Postcards and snacks will be provided.

What to bring: if you want to write letters to the editor, bring a laptop or notepad. Bring a pen. If you are really organized, bring your stamps.
